Balboa Yacht Club
The original world renowned in yachting Balboa Yacht Club or “BYC” building burned down 19 years ago. The new building houses a bar restaurant and facilities for the buoy marina. Located 4 miles south of the first lock its the jumping off point for your transit. The buoy field is served by a launch service 24 hours a day.
Bocas Marina offers the services you’ve been looking for whether you live on your boat in the marina, come in and out while gunkholing, or if you park your boat while you travel. Accommodating boats up to 120 ft., our concrete floating docks provide stable platforms for walking and working, with aluminum ramps connecting the slips to the land.
Both short term and long term visitors are welcome. Management and staff have the know-how to make your arrival and stay in Bocas del Toro smooth and comfortable. A great advantage to you, the yacht owner, is that you can leave your vessel in Panamá indefinitely with NO taxes to pay!

Located on Isla Naos near the Smithsonian’s marine lab and inside the first buoy of the Pacific entrance of the Canal. The Causeway or Calzada was constructed of canal spoil it links three islands and forms a break water for the canal. On the first of the three islands, Naos Island, you will find The Beach House hotel and and La Playita Marina.

Marina Vista Mar
Vista Mar Marina is the first marina located on the beaches of the Pacific coast, District of San Carlos, Panama, Republic of Panama. It has 206 berths (each with electric service, Wi-Fi and drinking water) with availability for boats from the smallest to 200 feet and 1200 feet of docks for mega yachts. We are approximately 42 nautical miles southwest of the Panama Canal.
Top luxury amenities for owners, captains and crews can safely enjoy all the comfort and entertainment, in addition to the advantages offered by our city benefit. We also have only a heliport for air access directly on the Marina.
Vista Mar Marina is one of the unique marine world located in connecting two oceans. We have the best of Panama within walking distance and also the best islands in the Pacific Ocean a short distance inland.
Located on the North Coast (Caribbean) just a few miles south of Farralon lt.The marina has a capacity of 36 monohulls and 10 multihulls in two rows. In order to respect and protect the seabed, three or four screw type anchor points per vessel have been set up and only the anchorage point pops out of the seabed.
This system has been approved and is used in many marine parks over the world.
A channel with green (portside) and red (starboard) buoys has been set up to help the entrance in the marina. The channel is not lit at night.
In the marina, three white buoys can be used to wait for the dinghy service which will assist you in getting in your spot. The dinghy assistance can be contacted on channel 69 or by cell phone.
The seabed up to the marina is sandy, depth varies between 20 and 5 m. In the channel and at the moorings for the boats depth varies from 2 to 4 m.
Shelter Bay Marina
Shelter Bay Marina, at the Caribbean entrance to the Panama Canal, began operations in 2005. They are very well placed to assist canal transits,and can also provide an excellent base for those wishing to take advantage of the wonderful local cruising, and sport fishing opportunities. They are next door to 14,000 acre San Lorenzo National Park, one of the premier birding locations in the world.
Undeniably, Panama is becoming a sought after destination for sailors: They are just 70 miles from one of the true gems of the cruising world, the San Blas Islands. It helps to be well south of the hurricane risk zone.
They can handle mega yachts to 320 feet on well constructed and protected docks in clear waters. All vessels from the biggest to the 30 footers can take advantage of convenient side-ties with plenty of maneuvering room. Not only do They have the protection of the Panama Canal breakwater, but we are further protected by the cove we share with the Panamanian Coast Guard. We have 200 slips with power and water 100 dry store spots with power and water and extensive services.
Marina at Red Frog Beach Island Resort & Spa
